The
Lamb
I
am the Lamb, prone to wander
Often
I wallow and squander
I
picked up the pearl, but sat it down. I even kicked it around
Leaving
the fold You didn't even scold. Picking me up, it's a story retold
You
left the faithful, to find me
You
left the good, to be with me
You
lift me, even break me
Now,
You remake me
Your
pulse so close
Your heart so near
Your voice so dear
“What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off. In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should be lost.
Matthew 18:10-14
Just beautiful, Gordon; I'm touched, as always, by your candor, your insight, and your thoughtfulness of God's great love for you and all of us. To God be the Glory! Great things He has done! =0]
