Fiction, fantasy, fake, or fraud.
Do any of these define my
life or its fate?
Don’t you know there are lies spinning through my mind as
the enemy plans defeat?
Do I listen to Lucifer lie?
No!
“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after
the flesh: For
the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the
pulling down of strong holds; casting down imaginations, and every high thing that
exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every
thought to the obedience of Christ.”
2
Corinthians 10:3-5 KJV
Fight!
Use the
words of LIFE!
“…be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God
that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against
flesh and blood, but against the
rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness,
against the
spiritual forces of evil in
the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God
that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having
done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the
gospel of peace. In all circumstances take
up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit,
which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and
supplication.”
Ephesians 6:10B-18A ESV
The armor of God, know it well:
Belt of Truth
Breast Plate of Righteousness
Shoes
Shield of Faith
Helmet of Salvation
Sword of the Spirit
And pray all the time and know this:
““God opposes the proud
but gives grace to the humble.”
but gives grace to the humble.”
Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near
to God and he will come near to you.”
James 4:6b-8a NIV
Merciful God, fight my fight!
You’ve won I know.
Thoughts doubt!
Help my plight!
“Pssst!” a small voice says.
I hear Nehemiah’s words from
a few millennia ago, “The joy of the Lord is my strength!”
Very good and encouraging Gordon thank you!
